Welcome to tombolo! This is a game where you use the sliding effects of vertical and horizontal pieces to make your opponent drop the circle piece off the board! It's a perfect information game like Go, Shogi, Chess, and Othello. The board is 7×7 with 3 types of pieces. Placing a vertical piece slides rows up and down, while a horizontal piece slides columns left and right. You win if your opponent drops the circle piece off the board on their turn! But if you drop it yourself, you lose. Fallen pieces become your opponent's hand pieces, creating a cycle between the board and each player's hand. Simple rules, yet the dramatic board changes caused by slides create deep strategic gameplay for beginners and experts alike.
