One rainy night, the protagonist notices a café that has never been there before. Inside, it is warm and smells of coffee and wet clothes. Behind the counter stands a tired, composed barista. A man in a dark coat watches from the window. At the tables, people argue about what makes a story feel alive: mystery, form, voice, memory, or the one who stays until the end. At first, it feels like an odd but ordinary evening. Then a joke about coffee stops feeling like a joke. The conversations become less and less accidental. The longer the protagonist stays, the clearer it becomes that this place stands on more than walls and a sign outside. NeuroSlop is a short linear visual novel focused on atmosphere, writing, music, and dialogue.
