
GRUNGE is a single-player, atmospheric FPS set in a decaying post-apocalyptic world. It combines methodical pacing with highly lethal combat. There are no bullet sponges here. Combat is fast, deadly, and relies on positioning rather than stats. GAMEPLAY FEATURES Lethal "Glass Cannon" Combat: You are not a tank. Enemies die in 1-2 shots, but so do you. The Repeater Mechanic (Quick-Save): You are equipped with a "Repeater" unit that allows for instant manual quick-saving. Death is frequent, but reloading is instant. Quick-save as often as you reload. Equipment-Based Progression: You get better gear as you progress, and combat effectiveness is primarily driven by what you're carrying. No Survival Chores: Focus purely on exploration and combat. There are no hunger, thirst, or stamina meters to manage. CONTENT & REPLAYABILITY The World: Explore dense, hostile, and interconnected levels filled with environmental storytelling, hidden secrets, and blocked paths. Atmosphere: Powered by a custom rendering pipeline in Unreal Engine 5, designed for retro-styled visuals, high performance, and a responsive "old-school" game feel. The Playtime: Roughly 8-hour experience.
