Delta Light 2 is my love letter to the old school flash games that I grew up on. With this sequel, I set out to build on everything that made the original special, while leaving behind what didn’t quite hit the mark. Delta Light 2 brings together the two core game modes: Campaign and Infinite Mode. (With the addition of Arcade mode since patch 1.13!) Campaign and Infinite Mode In the Campaign, you’ll explore a series of handcrafted maps, each with unique mobs and challenges. I’m especially excited for you to encounter my many new bosses. To give you moments to breathe, I’ve added visual novel elements ;) Once the Campaign ends, you seamlessly continue in Infinite Mode—a (mostly) procedural generated campaign that endlessly challenges. With a brand-new engine powering the game (thanks Bixxy), the graphics are bolder, the musics are an mix of arcade and chip-tune tunes (thanks Rolemusic), and the game-play is way less repetitive. Delta Light 2 is the game I always dreamed Delta Light could be. I poured my heart into it, and I hope you’ll feel that passion when you play. I love making games—and I hope you’ll love playing this one. 💖 New in Update 1.13: Arcade Mode With the launch of Update 1.13, Delta Light 2 now features a brand-new Arcade Mode, specially designed for Arcade cabinet setups (and speedrunners who want to jump straight into the action). When booting up from Steam, you can now choose to launch directly into Arcade Mode. In Arcade Mode, everything is streamlined: a single-button splash screen invites players to sit down and play, instantly. No menus, no story, no distractions—just pure gameplay. All visual novel dialog is skipped, and true to arcade tradition, nothing saves: scores, levels, and unlocks are all wiped once you return to the main menu. It’s a zero-persistence experience that keeps the focus sharp.
