TAKEUMA 2D is a game in which the player moves a boy on TAKEUMA to climb a tower where various gimmicks lie and take the boy to the top. The controls are very simple, but the boy is on stilts and cannot stop, so climbing the tower may not be easy. Each of the five odd-looking towers has a different gimmick, and will repeatedly knock you and the boy down as you try to climb to the top.
