I created Dark and Deep because I wanted to bring a totally new visual aesthetic to the horror genre. There is not a game that looks like mine. My art process is unique, bringing the illustrations of 19th Century Artist, Gustave Doré into a new dimension. Doré was legendary for his detailed black and white illustrations of mythological and historical scenes. Dark and Deep uses his aesthetic to tell a surreal cosmic horror story where the boundaries of sanity and reality are bent and broken.
