The year is 1995, only a couple of years after the collapse of the Soviet Union, and Russia is trying to recollect all of its past scientific endeavors and research located in the new post-soviet states. The Object 1611 laboratory located in the Soldanesti district in Moldova has suffered from an anomalous malfunction that has caused contamination of the Soldanesti Containment Zone, radiation leaks, and a containment breach of live soviet experiments into the surrounding area. Containment Zone is a hardcore, tactical, realistic RPG looter shooter set in a fictional post-apocalyptic scenario in the Soldanesti District of the Republic of Moldova where the player takes the role of Vadim Volkov, a civilian who must plunder and fight his way through escaped mutant experiments, zombies, and military private contractors to reveal the truth about the Object 1611 disaster and find and save his sister, one of the scientists working within underground lower levels of the Object 1611 laboratory. About the Developer I am Vlad Bondarenco, a high schooler, and part-time game developer, and Containment Zone is my debut game release on steam.
